📱 Know the Apps. Start the Conversation. Protect Our Mustangs. 🧡🖤

The digital world is constantly changing, and many of the apps our children use every day include features that allow them to connect with strangers, share their location, send disappearing messages, or access inappropriate content.

While many of these apps have legitimate uses, it's important for parents to understand the potential risks and have regular conversations with their children about staying safe online.

Take a few minutes to review our "Know the Apps" guide and ask your child:
•  What apps are you using?
• Who are you talking to online?
• Do you know how to report or block someone?
• Are your privacy settings turned on?

💡 Remember:
• Keep devices in common areas when possible.
• Review privacy and location settings together.
• Talk about what to do if someone online makes them uncomfortable.
• Remind children to never share personal information, passwords, photos, or their location with someone they don't know.
• Keep the conversation open, supportive, and judgment-free so they'll come to you if something doesn't feel right.

Technology changes quickly, but staying involved is one of the best ways to keep our students safe.

🧡 Together, we can help our Mustangs make smart, safe choices both in and out of the classroom.

Note: Apps and online platforms change frequently. The presence of an app on this guide doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe for every user, but it may include features that parents should be aware of. We encourage families to review apps together and use them responsibly.

Final Exam Exemption Requirements infographic for Clio High School. The graphic explains the requirements students must meet to be exempt from final exams. Students must have an 80% or higher in the class, 7 or fewer tardies, 7 or fewer absences, no major referrals, and meet required PSAT or SAT benchmark scores. Both excused (EX) and unexcused (UX) absences count, and tardies count as 1/6 of an absence. The infographic also explains subject-specific exemptions: Students who meet the Math PSAT/SAT benchmark may exempt from Math and Science final exams. Students who meet the EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) benchmark may exempt from English and Social Studies final exams. A separate attendance requirement explains that students with 10 or more absences in a class must earn at least a 78% on the final exam in order to pass the class. The graphic includes Clio High School branding and school colors with organized sections and icons for academics, attendance, behavior, and testing benchmarks.
