Happy New Year CES Families! We hope you enjoyed a restful winter break. Our staff were happy to welcome our students back today and we've been enjoying all the excitement that comes with sharing stories of our winter break happenings. With that said, today is very cold! We made the decision in our later lunches to have have indoor recess today and wanted to send you a reminder. With upcoming temps in the teens and 20s,it is very important students wear appropriate winter gear to school. If you are in need, please reach out to us. Students go outside for recess unless the temperature is below a certain level. Also please remember for the safety of our students you must walk your student in if you arrive after 8:35 am. Staff are not stationed at doors at this time so students cannot just walk up to the building as doors are locked. If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Lanyi or myself. Thank you!

Mornings can be really crazy…the alarm doesn’t go off…the kids don’t want to get up…there’s no time to eat breakfast before the bus comes…or they’re just not ready to eat. Or maybe your teenager grabs a can of soda and a candy bar on the way to school. If this sounds like your house, we have good news for you!
Breakfast is served at your school! School Breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class. Breakfast has vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body.

Please find attached an important message from superintendent Lisa Taylor.
